Question by sparkly7575: Does having a tubal ligation at age 22 (no kids) make perimenopause at 35 more likely?
I have been experiencing symptoms of perimenopause for the past year and they are getting more pronounced. My first menstrual period was at age 10.

have a tubal ligation has not effect on menopause. Early cycles such as yours may though.

I’ve read that big eyes, full lips, and a waist-to-hip ratio close to 0.7 means that you have a high level of estrogen.

Are there any benefits other than being really fertile?

Those characteristics that you listed have a lot more to do with genetics than they to do with estrogen level. Have you been reading one of those stupid spam advertisements? Don’t believe a thing they say.

Reduce or better yet eliminate caffeine and sugar from your diet. Reduce starchy foods such as pasta, as it turns to sugar in the bloodstream. Add herbals like kava

If you mean crazy mood swings, extremely heavy irregular bleeding and hot flashes and sleeplessness, I found the very best thing was get together with a friend and try to laugh it away! It seemed to last for years.

But to be honest – I think my husband and kids actually suffered more than I did. I was too busy hanging on to my sanity to think about them.

Some women seem to breeze thru with no problems but it can be wicked for others. My Doctor recommended St John’s wort and Chamomile Tea. He felt HRT and/or a hysterectomy because of the fibroids should be last resorts. I’m glad I listened because about two years ago it just stopped, almost overnight.

So hang on & try to find some thing to laugh about!

I have heard that females with higher levels of estrogen have more physically attractive features. Would taking a form of estrogen effect the way an adult woman looks?

No. Your physical features are determined by your genes. Unless you have plastic surgery you can’t alter them. You don’t take a shot or smear a cream on your face at night and wake up looking like megan fox.
