the common age for male and female to have menopause is around the age of 48 – 52. but some people have it early and some have it later in their lives. symptoms be changes of the hormones, stress – anxiety (which somewhat explains why if you sweat and experience mood swings). but it’s not completely because of the menopause which cause you night sweats and mood swings, it could be that you’ve just been having a lot of stress from work, family, your significant other, etc.

- could be but….sounds like your hormone levels are screwed up. good idea going to doc. See if they will do a mammogram. I started getting night sweats, chills, moody, hot flashes and have been diagnosed with breast cancer in milk duct which is hormone related. I’m not saying you have breast cancer but it shows how much hormones can be involved.
- It can start from 35 to 50 depends on your hormone level..ask your doctor, he may sugest a course of HRT

- The average age is 55. My mom started at 45 which is considered wayyyy early, so I doubt you are going through it at 32!!! But there is always that 1% of people who differ from the rest of us in some way or another. I’m 22 and get night sweats every night. Sometimes things like that just happen. Good luck at your doctor’s appointment!!
- The early stages of menopause can start in your 30’s – rare though. Night sweats and moodiness aren’t exactly the early stages though.
Is pregnancy a possibility??? At your age, it sounds more plausible than menopause.

- How Can You Differentiate Pms From Peri-menopause From Depression From Bipolar Disorder?
good question, it all depends on certain factors. each condition has specific criteria. its something you should spend the time researching, so that you can understand it. - How Can You Differentiate Pms From Peri-menopause From Depression From Bipolar Disorder?
You go see a doctor so he can do tests to rule out (or rule in) hormonal imbalances. Then if they come back normal it’s probably not PMS or menopause. The difference between Depression and Bipolar is mania. Not so hard to tell apart. Actually they share a few symptoms but if you are really educated about them you would realize that they are not at all alike……….. - How Can You Differentiate Pms From Peri-menopause From Depression From Bipolar Disorder?
Keep track with a mood chart – there are free ones online, google it.
PMS- would only have symptoms for a week or so before your period, and a couple days into it.
perimenopause – if the PMS gets worse before menopause, it is PMS getting worse because of perimenopause. If you already had depression or bipolar, there is a very good chance it will get much worse during perimenopause. This has happened to me, and my docs have all said this is common as anything.
If you are depressed other times of the month, but worse during PMS time, this is normal – PMS makes depression worse.
With bipolar, you will have manic or hypomanic periods, but especially hypomanic periods can be hard to recognize. If you have bipolar II, the hypomanic periods can be brief and relatively mild, and just seem like a very productive, creative time in your life. - Could Severe Night Sweats Be Linked To Diabetes?

I don’t really think there is an average age. I always thought late 40’s early 50’s but I was proven wrong. I’m only 38 and I’ve been suffering on and off for a year. The only good side to this is no more periods!. I asked my mom at what age she went into menopause and she said it never happened to her! I also know someone in their late 20’s who has it. Check with your doctor first before coming to any conclusions yourself. It could be a sign of something else. A gynocologists would be able to tell you for sure. Good luck and good health.
usually takes place in a womans 40s but can happen earlier or later depending on her genetics. ask your mother when she hit menopause because youll probably hit around the same age
I’ve heard of menopause starting as early as 16 (a rare case study of identical twins, one started menopause at 16 while the other was fairly normal). It can start as early as mid-30s or even as late as the 60s (cases where women have given birth in old age). It could be something else, though, and is worth getting checked out.

menopause can hit anywhere between 40 and fifty. you can be going through perimenopause which starts about five years before the actual menopause. if you’re not menapausal you have have a hormone imbalance. tell your doctor to check your hormones in any case.
The average age of menopause onset is 51, plus or minus several years either way. Some women experience age of menopause in the 30’s or 60’s. The variance can be accounted for by several different considerations. For example, a woman’s average age of menopause onset will be related to when menopause happened for her mother and any older sisters: in short, her genetics.
Unlike a woman’s first menstruation, which starts on a single day, the changes leading up to menopause happen over several years. The average age for menopause is 52. But menopause commonly happens anytime between the ages of 42 and 56.
pre-menopause can happen however in your early to late
30’s and sometimes not until your 40’s
Usually about the same age that a womans mother started menopause is a good estimate as to when they will start their own.
Yes, I’ve know women who have started in the 30’s.
Average age is probably around 47.
