Question by djr: How long after taking prozac does it take to get my sex drive back?
I am only 22 years old and have lost a significant amount of my sex drive. I was on prozac 11 months. Some sources on the internet say anti depressants may cause permanent erectile dysfunction. I wanted to hear from other guys who have possibly experienced this.

I never had this problem. Talk to your doctor. Maybe he can give you something that can help you get your sex drive.

I don’t know where this myth about women not wanting sex after marriage came from! If anything I want it more since I got married 15 years ago.

My husband has a slightly lower sex drive than I do, but only slightly so it is not hard to compromise. If, however there was a big difference than honestly, I really do not think I could commit to a life like that.

I’m sure nobody has ever really had this problem but my gf’s drive far exceeds mine. I mean we do it once a day, just about everyday but she still wants it more. It is not that she is going to get it somewhere else or anything like that. It isn’t that I can’t, I just usually don’t want to go for another round in the same day usually. How do I get my drive up to par with her’s?

Sex drive varies from woman to woman. It doesn’t matter what her sign. I think that for you though, a Leo might be worth a try.

Ok so i’m only 23 but my sex drive seems to have plumited.I jus don’t want it at all really. My boyfriend is getting frustrated which i can understand but i just really dont know what can cause it to go so low. I’ve never been like this before. Its not like i don’t fancy my boyfriend cus i do i fancy the pants off him. Iv been on the pill for 6 years now. I also work really long hours. Could this contribute to it?? Please help i don’t want our relationship to end because of this.

i seem to have lost my sex drive since splitting up with my naw ex girlfriend…!!? this was 3 months ago, it was a hard break up and caused a lot of strees on my side… (4 year relationship) since i have started seeing this new gal, im concerned if the relationship carrys on progressing (wink wink) there will be a problem..!

My bf and I have been together for a little over 1 yr now, but at the moment he doesn’t live near me (he was caring for his dad in another state). So instead, we resort to having phone sex. I know he will move back in to my town in May, but after he left to care for his family, my sex drive dropped. After he left, we had phone sex for a few weeks straight… but just recently my sex drive has gotten so low that when he asks me I get either annoyed, upset that he brings it up, or I just tell him I’m too tired and not in the mood. He doesn’t even ask for it a lot, and sometimes I feel selfish about it but I would hate to force myself to do it. When he was here, we used to have sex almost every other day. I know he’s coming back, and I’m excited, but what if he comes back and I’m just not interested in him that way anymore? If I’m not giving enough information, let me know… but I want to know if it’s something that I’m doing wrong, or if it’s him, or what.

You may be over him by now. Sometimes relationships just end, and there’s no good reason for it.

I went off of my pill about a mth and a half ago and my sex drive shot way up…but now that my period is about 2 weeks late(2 hpt were neg. and blood test neg…so not so sure were the period is..) my sex drive is way down…does anyone know why and what could possible bring it back up…my newlywed husband would probably appreciate you advice ;);)
