What are the chances of getting cancer again after taking estrogen because of menopause?10.27.11

Question by cute: What are the chances of getting cancer again after taking estrogen because of menopause?
Because if I do have cancer I don’t want to feel the symptoms of menopause. Will all doctors refuse to give you estrogen after having cancer?

Answer by BD_king
Research over the last 5-10 years shows a direct correlation between Hormonal replacement therapy and cancer. For this reason, you need to have a very detailed discussion with your physician. Death by cancer is not a pleasant experience.

Question by southpawbowler87@sbcglobal.net: I heard that women start menopause 31 years after they have their first cycle. Is that true?
My mom had menopause at the age of 41-i was wondering if by chance that would happen to me. Could i follow in my mother’s foot steps?

Everyone is different, and yes, the same thing could happen to you as it did to your mother. Did you mom have some kind of a illness that effected that? Did she have a hysterectomy? If she went through menopause early naturally, then you might too.

How long is it normal to have decreased libido after childbirth?10.02.11

Question by one_lil_monkey: How long is it normal to have decreased libido after childbirth?
Before I had my baby over a year ago, I had a very high libido. Ever since I had the baby, I have not wanted sex at all, and even have aversions to it on many occasions. It seems I either want it all the time or NEVER (usually never. I usually feel sorry for my husband a couple times per week and do it, but I don’t really want to). I could go for a month without it and then every night for a week straight. Is it normal to fluctuate so wildly? I am not on any medications, including chemical birth control. I am not working, baby sleeps wonderfully, and our relationship is good.

After having kids my husbands libido seems to have lowered and mines still strong. How can I lower mine? ?09.29.11

Question by Rachel: After having kids my husbands libido seems to have lowered and mines still strong. How can I lower mine? ?
I am 23 years old adn he is 36 years old. We had kids recently and he works a lot and is very tired most of the time. Which is what I think may have lowered his libido. Mine however stands strong. I like to have sex at least 2x a week or I’m sexual frustrated. Is there anyway I can lower my libido?

Best answer:

Answer by najio
I think you should want to get your husbands libido back even with yours instead of wanting to lower yours to his level! I don’t think you should have to sacrifice your sex drive to meet his. Think of ways you can spice things up for him…be waiting for him when he gets home from work and what not :)
