How old are you? What is going on in your life? Are you experiencing extra stress over something? This could be what they call a panic attack. See your doctor asap if this continues at all.

Has anyone been prescribed estrogen following fibroid removal surgery?08.10.10

Question by blumarina: Has anyone been prescribed estrogen following fibroid removal surgery?
I am 31 years old and had a 1 cm fibroid in my uterine cavity. I just had it removed (myomectomy) on Thursday. I am planning on getting pregnant in the next year. My doctor at UCSD prescribed me estrogen for 3 weeks to prevent scar tissue from forming. I was just wondering if anyone else was prescribed this as I hadn’t heard of it anywhere else. If so, what was your experience? Thanks!

Has anyone here been dx’d w/perimenopause at young age?07.24.10

Question by jlhangelheart: Has anyone here been dx’d w/perimenopause at young age?
I’m 44yo; was diagnosed at 42, I think this was caused by depo shot and fact that I’d been on it for five years. I have had many “pregnancy” scares, very heavy periods out of the blue, then none for months at a time. Right now, I’m having an issue w/very sore nipples and cramping. I was having hot flashes all the time, but that has subsided for now. Anyone been in this situation? Any advice would be appreciated.

peri-menopause can begin as early as 28, mine did… I very much doubt it had anything to do with the depo shot… it was just time for you.
