Low quality eggs, low estrogen mean harder to conceive?06.30.10

How hard is it to conceive naturally with low estrogen levels and low quality eggs?

I ovulate every month (from what I can tell by the 3 cycles I’ve charted)
My cycles are normally around 33 days long and I’ve only had maybe 4 cycles (since TTC) that were 27-29 days.

When I ovulate later around CD 20-23 I have a lot of different patches of wet watery CM and from what I’ve been checking it’s never EWCM as the most it stretches is about half an inch.

When I ovulated early on CD 13 I only had one patch of CM and it was only watery as well.

This new cycle I went through a lot of watery CM patches and the cramps I normally get have stopped a couple days ago but my temp has never spiked. I think my body tried to ovulate but didn’t and now I feel like I’m just not going to ovulate at all this cycle.

I’m beginning to believe I do have a problem with my eggs and I’m not liking the idea of needing to get checked… feeling very let down by this :(

Would something like Estroven, for menopause, help you to conceive?04.21.10

Hormones are a crazy thing,a nd hard for me to keep straight. I’m not sure if the hormones in menopause medications would make it harder or easier to conceive. I’m going on 3 years of trying, and I was thinking about trying that but I wanted to make sure it had a chance of working before I tried it. Thanks!

Possible for my body to recover from low estrogen, conceive naturally?03.30.10

I got my period when I was almost 12 and was quite regular until age 18 when I lost about 20lbs over the course of a few months and my cycle became erratic.

Later that year I stopped menstruating altogether for about 3 months and I finally decided to see a doctor. She had me get a host of bloods tests as well as a transvaginal ultrasound to check my ovaries and uterus. The ultrasound looked perfect, my thyroids were a-okay, but my estrogen had dropped to a post-menopausal level (her words).

She didn’t seem particularly worried though and said that these things happen sometimes and they usually resolve themselves on their own, then put me on birth control so that I would get my period again and everything got back to some degree of normalcy.

So! It’s now two years later and I am beginning to wonder about the potential implications of that episode in regards to my future fertility. Has anyone here gone through something similar? Did it just resolve itself?
