Would you ever marry someone with a lower sex drive than you?05.13.12

Question by Westerner: Would you ever marry someone with a lower sex drive than you?
It all depends. But hey, women have lower sex drives anyway as in they’re not interested in sex after they’re married. Strange.

Would you ever marry someone with a lower sex drive than you?

I don’t know where this myth about women not wanting sex after marriage came from! If anything I want it more since I got married 15 years ago.

My husband has a slightly lower sex drive than I do, but only slightly so it is not hard to compromise. If, however there was a big difference than honestly, I really do not think I could commit to a life like that.

Question by paulbunyan217: Anybody ever hear of Viabrant sticks, supposed to increase your libido, and do they work, anybody tried them?
I heard an advertisement for something, I think they were called “viabrant sticks” and you’re supposed to put them under your tongue, and they’re supposed to be libido enhancing, but I never heard of them, or seen them apart from the commercial, and I was wondering if anybody knew anything about them???

No I have not heard of them, I even did a search with no luck. Although if you keep yourself nice and healthy you will not need them, and if you take ginseng you will be in good shape. Helps me out big time.

Do men ever lose their libido? Or at least get to a point where they can control it if necessary?12.08.11

Question by Angela: Do men ever lose their libido? Or at least get to a point where they can control it if necessary?
I lose my libido whenever circumstances aren’t favorable for sex. My on/off libido has driven my husband crazy. He goes bonkers if he doesn’t have sex on a regular basis. He finally had an affair when I lost my libido after our third child. Do men ever lose their libidos? Or do they just keep going and going until they’re old and wrinkly and dead?

Do you think his libido will ever go back to normal?10.26.11

Question by i’m getting married!: Do you think his libido will ever go back to normal?
My fiance’s libido has declined over the last five years, and the last four years has been almost non-existent. He’s too embarrassed to go to the docs, and has promised to find ‘natural’ remedies, but as yet hasn’t tried any. I love him, and will stay with him regardless, but i SO miss the closeness and intimacy we once had. Do you think things will just go back to normal on their own, or should i push him to try and change things? Thanks.

Five years is a long time to think this could clear up on it’s own. You have agreed to marry a man who is too embarrassed to go to the doctor, but has failed to treat himself for a condition that greatly affects you both, after promising to do so. Yes, you definitely need to push him. He is being negligent of you both, and immature. Before a doctor starts residency, he/she has studied and heard about cases much more dramatic than your fiance’s. As an adult who’s ready to marry, he should be able to get help for himself, especially if his condition is affecting you.
