Question by elizabeth c: Can a person lose their sex drive after they quit drinking alcohol?
Because my husband has quit drinking alcohol and says he has no sex drive now. It really bothers me and i do question the reason but am unsure. I have never had a alcohol problem so i would not fully understand side effects any answers would help! Thank you..

My wife suffers from chronic depression and for a while she had no sex drive. Then she stopped taking her birth control and turned into a nympho (lol). Then she started taking the depo shot(since we were having so much sex) and it killed her sex drive again. It’s starting to damage our marriage.

I lose my libido whenever circumstances aren’t favorable for sex. My on/off libido has driven my husband crazy. He goes bonkers if he doesn’t have sex on a regular basis. Question by KZ: Why do you think that mens sex drive stays the same while women over a certain age lose their sex drive?
A few men have commented that women somewhere between 50 and 60 lose their sex drive. While I disagree, women have answered this as normal, loss of estrogen, etc.
