Question by Due 12/15: Is there any medicines designed specifically to lower sex drive?
I’ve heard of medicines to increase one’s sex drive. But what if the partner that has the low sex drive doesn’t want to take those? Is there a medicine that will lower the other partner’s (female’s) sex drive? If so, what kind of a doctor would you go to to get them prescribed?

just stay busy or do things like yoga and meditation. I don’t understand why you would weight anyway if you love him it shouldn’t matter and your planning to marry him then your practically married, marriage is just a piece of paper that you have to pay for so the government recognizes your marriage. When you’re feeling horny look at pictures of transsexuals and that should shut down your sex drive promptly!

Alternatively you can take Saw Palmetto which is claimed to lower DHT which is the more potent form of testosterone in your body that is responsible for “horniness”. But be careful, as you don’t want to lower it permanently, do you?

Just get a wife and celebrate your sex drive.

I don’t think that you are the one that needs the help. You need to get her into a doctor and get her checked out, a lack of sex drive could be any number of things from, health related to well cheating. I will tell you my own personal rule on this which is if she isn’t getting it at home, she is getting it somewhere else. But before you jump the gun, make for sure that it isn’t a health related issue.

Is there any medication or herbs/natural supplements that work specifically to lower the female sex drive? I already take birth control (Ortho Evra), so I doubt increasing estrogen or progesterone levels would help. Can I take medication to lower testosterone levels in my body?

I am 23 years old adn he is 36 years old. We had kids recently and he works a lot and is very tired most of the time. Which is what I think may have lowered his libido. Mine however stands strong. I think you should want to get your husbands libido back even with yours instead of wanting to lower yours to his level! I don’t think you should have to sacrifice your sex drive to meet his. Think of ways you can spice things up for him…be waiting for him when he gets home from work and what not
