MOST guys are better than girls when it comes to approaching and hitting on a desirable stranger. And until a relationship gets underway, guys usually are better at initiating sex. It’ll be really nice when ALL girls get to be just as good at these two things as the guys are!

Studies have shown that the female sex drive is JUST as strong as the male one. It’ll be great when society in general is clearly able to observe the evidence of it.

(And — just as girls enjoy getting hit upon, most of the time, guys, too, find it DELIGHTFUL when girls act that same way toward them! **Really** delightful!!)

Back in the BAD ol’ days, before the Sex Revolution of the ’60s and ’70s, much of society moronically criticized sexually-liberated girls and women. But it’s the 21st century now, and — fortunately! — most such critics these days are very properly regarded to be laughingstocks & busybodies. So why aren’t the gals, on average, as likely to be as openly assertive as the guys are?

Personally, I hit ONLY on girls who are attractive to me… and I would expect the gals to do likewise. So my question only boils down to THIS: Why don’t the gals hit on guys (who are attractive to them) to the SAME extent that guys hit on gals who are attractive to them?
To “Lady M” — I’m guessing that your answer is pretty all-inclusive. But… would I mind being hit-upon by girls, 247? Probably about as much as I’d ever tire of eating lobster. That would be **SUCH** a refreshing change!!

To “hmmmfunny” — For me, coming on to me increases my perception of a female’s sex appeal *exponentially*! That interest in me, on her part, just makes her more special!
To “ONLY I” — Yours is the answer I dreaded seeing the most! I had truly hoped that American society had at last outgrown having such archaic perceptions. (I *think* that most of Europe outgrew that long ago… and if so, the USA apparently has some catching up to do!)
To the EUROPEANS in here — Please look at the response by “lacubanita75,” below, and let me know if what she says would have any validity in YOUR part of the world? OR — is this misperception that assertive females must be “sluts” (on the part of some misguided people) an affliction that is limited more to the USA?

Considering how women often complain about being hit on by men and the way men always want sex, my questions are: Would women prefer it if men in general were much less horny? What might be some down sides for women if men were less horny? Are there any women out there that actually like the way men are so horny?

Both men and women have testosterone in the body, but men usually have a larger concentration of this hormone. I heard that there were cases where women had the same amount of testosterone as the average male? Is this true? How frequent is this? If so, would the women have a similar sex drive? Would this cause more problems for the women…such as hair growth and increase in agressiveness etc….?

well, i dont know if my testostrone levels are different, but i usually have more sex drive and more intrest in sex than males do. Im very competative with males and can get very aggressive when competing and i guess i do act like i have alot of testostrone.

but i have a very female frame, got curves and boobs and not a brown hair on my body and my hair is actually very thin.

I have only been with 2 women, one of which was hideous, the other of which shattered my trust in love permanently. I have little interest in getting to know anyone else, or to associate with people period except when necessary for occupational purposes.

Understand also, I will not lower myself to the orgiastic debauchery and foul polyamory that my generation is plagued with. I wish to permanently erase my (rather high) sex drive, which has grown twisted and backwards anyway due to 5 years of celibacy.

Now at 23 years of age, I wish to immerse myself in my work, studies, and hobbies, and consciously silencing any impure thoughts when working with women grows tiresome. I have heard that there are herbs and such that can accomplish this, and that they were sometimes used by monks.

I know this seems extreme, but understand, I’m not typical. Autism and antisocial problems run in my family, and I’ve never been like the others, though I’ve learned to blend in rather well by now. If at one point I might have enjoyed the company of others, that point has long since passed. Sexual needs do nothing but make my solitary life less comfortable. I know some people are going to suggest psychiatric help, I’ve been down that road, been given the garbage drugs, and it didn’t change who I am or make me any less undesiring of human company, but I rather found it a waste of money.

Lowering my testosterone is not an option as I enjoy weight training and physical labor, my body is a machine that must be maintained at peak power and performance.

I am a 16 year old boy. Lately I have been waking up in the middle of night very hot and sweaty. My girlfriend told me to start taking estroven. She is making me take 2 Estroven Maximum strength tablets once a day. I have been taking them for about a month now. I haven’t noticed any changes until a couple of days ago when I discovered I couldn’t get a full erection. I have also noticed a loss in sex drive. Are the pills the cause of this? Are the effects permanent? And what else could I expect if I kept taking these tablets? (And yes this is a serious question, I’m not trolling)

First of all stop taking the pills to see the result, then try exercising it increases your testosterone which is responsible for your sex drive.

me and my ‘boyfriend’ have been on/off and up and down for a year, we get along so so well but we dont have sex that often, maybe only once or twice during a 2week period. yeah sorry, he’s 24 I’m 22. And believe me I’ve had no complaints before! plus i do initiate! I think he’s a bit shy coz he’s much more rowdy after a shant…. hmmm cheers u lot maybe i won’t mention it for a bit and see how it goes. Me and my Fiance have been together 4 years. We have a great relationship and we love each other dearly.

he’s 22 and i am 21. is it weird that my sex drive is WAY LARGER than his? I like want sex all the time… and he’s been fine with that up until like 4 months ago.

We have run into some money troubles and bills are stressing us both out. could that be the reason his sex drive has gone down. i used to get it a few times a week, now im lucky if i get it once every 3 weeks.
is it me? I haven’t gained any weight, changed my appearance or anything. I don’t know if i need to try something else to spice up things. i bought a cute new lingerie piece that he liked, but it only worked that one night… i need some help. we talk, and he doesn’t know what’s wrong either…
