Im 30, have had two babies in 3 years time. I had some anxiety and depression and went on a generic form of Celexa-it didnt seem to affect/effect my sex drive much-which is pretty regular-except my husband and i rarely get a chance. I recently went off the medication and my sex drive rocketed-its all i ever think about it-my body reacts so easily, im having trouble concentrating. I find im attracted to other people-like actually thinking about acting on it when this never crossed my mind before. My husband and i have had some problems, my body has been through changes, and the medication-is this just the sexual peak women reach at this age? Should i go back on the meds? Can any ladies or people in the medical profession give me some advice on how to deal?

I’m male. When I started taking SSRIs, nine years ago, my sex drive really plummeted. I suspect that the Celexa was having an effect that you didn’t notice, and when you quit it, your sex drive went back to normal.
The way you describe it, yours sounds like mine was when I was a teen. Sometimes you just have to stop what you’re doing and have an orgasm. Every teen boy is dealing with what you are, only they don’t have the maturity to deal with it.
It doesn’t seem like you have a problem. Just pork your husband more often.
