Q&A: Regarding menopause; how do I manage to deal with perimenopause and still having PMS without losing my mind?10.30.11

Question by madamesophia1969: Regarding menopause; how do I manage to deal with perimenopause and still having PMS without losing my mind?
I am 37, tested positive for menopause with a home menopause test kit, and have PMS symptoms worse than ever. When will this stop?? I live in a new country with nationalized health care and don’t have my card yet so I can’t go to the doctor unless it is an emergency. I should get my new medical card in a few months but I am miserable now. Please advise.

If you find out the answer, please let me know. But seriously, soy can help. When I am going thru pms, I treat myself to dinner out at a Japanese Restaurant. I always order Miso soup which high in soy and also eat the Edamme. Then if you eat some Sushi, you get some protein and oh, a glass of plum wine goes a long time in helping you to feel better.
I also just realize that this is the way it is right now and try to lay low during pms staying away from social engagements and don’t make any important decisions.

After having kids my husbands libido seems to have lowered and mines still strong. How can I lower mine? ?09.29.11

Question by Rachel: After having kids my husbands libido seems to have lowered and mines still strong. How can I lower mine? ?
I am 23 years old adn he is 36 years old. We had kids recently and he works a lot and is very tired most of the time. Which is what I think may have lowered his libido. Mine however stands strong. I like to have sex at least 2x a week or I’m sexual frustrated. Is there anyway I can lower my libido?

I think you should want to get your husbands libido back even with yours instead of wanting to lower yours to his level! I don’t think you should have to sacrifice your sex drive to meet his. Think of ways you can spice things up for him…be waiting for him when he gets home from work and what not :)
