Question by freddy: Can estrogen blockers stop my growth plates from fusing together?
Im 15 year old male and my bone age is 18. I don’t have much hair under my arm pit so im not that into puberty but i have the bones of a 18 year old so that means my growth plates are going to close earlier then most people. Do you think estrogen blockers will stop my growth plates from fusing because estrogen is what causes my plates to fuse.

Question by TB: Is it safe to take estrogen progesteron and herbs for hot flashes together?
I am on estrogen alone and it is not working for me. Doctor cannot help, doesn’t feel I know what I am talking about. I had a hysterectomy 6 years ago(ovaries out) and have been miserable ever since. A friend suggested adding progesterone and herbs. I do not flash, just live in a oven. Is it safe to take all 3 together?

Progesterone can be taken with certain herbs in limited dosages, but if you are also taking any prescriptions for it (or a prescription level Progesterone), I would recommend that you ask a pharmacist if there are any interactions listed between the drugs and supplements you’re taking. Doctors and pharmacists both have access to a database of drug and supplement interactions and they can tell you quickly if you can safely take them together or not…. anyone here will just have a best guess from searching on the internet (which isn’t always accurate, as we all know) Good luck!

She is making me crazy with her negativity, paranoia, mood swings, orneriness and being difficult.

I don’t have any of the other symptoms of perimenopause except for sweating at night while sleeping (if that is a symptom). Am looking for some feedback please. Thank you.
