Perimenopause Help

Question by valeryfl: I am female and I have a huge sex drive, does that turn guys off?
I am a 23 year old female and I find that sometimes my sex drive is overwhelming for men. Can my sex drive intimidate the guys i sleep with? I thought that it was a good thing, so im a little confused. I don’t think that I am asking for ungodly amounts of sex. I need it at least 1 – 2 times a day. Isn’t that normal?
Update: No i am not easy, my boyfriend is out of town about 3 – 5 days of the week and when he’s here, I am all over him like white on rice. I practice safe sex (I just had a baby 6 months ago, learned my lesson), and I don’t cheat on him, but I feel like its his responsibility to make sure I am satisfied. (Especially since he’s gone a lot) I never turn him down, cuz I don’t want him finding some other girl to take care of his needs.

Question by A: Is it possible to be starting menopause and all of the hormonal lab work turn out negative?
My mom is 49 years old and has been having sudden anxiety/depression. She describes what sounds to be like a hot flash combined with sudden anxiety and panic. She went to the MD and was tested for elevated estrogen/progesterone/luteinizing hormone, but all were within normal limits. IS it possible to be starting menopause without having elevated hormones?

Yes that is precisely what happened to me – my results looked fine. The blood tests give normal results based on the average person. However each individual has different hormonal requirements. My specialist put me on a very small dose of estradiol, progesterone and testosterone and my symptoms vanished.
